As the Affiliation is composed of individuals from various states, there will be no principal office of NEASLH. Instead, the Affiliation “office” will be virtual with no physical location.


Regular meetings are held at least once per calendar year, virtually or in-person


Membership shall be limited to one of the following four classes

Voting Members

Voting Members are required to maintain membership status in the National Black Association for Speech Language and Hearing and can serve on our Board of Directors. There are three voting membership levels: Professional, Early Professional, and Student.

Nonvoting members

Nonvoting are all other individual members who are eligible to serve on committees and engage in all NEASLH offerings. There are three nonvoting membership levels: Professional, Early Professional, and Student.


Institutional Participants

Institutional Participation is for universities that includes opportunities for their students to engage and network with other students and professionals throughout the northeast.
